Exporting Data

Exporting the Data

Alongside saving Scan Data by Caching it, Steam Inventory Scanner can Export data one way in a readable format for General purposes.

To Export Data

  • Click File on the Main Window
  • Click Export
  • Select Export Format : Text file or HTML file

At the moment, Steam Inventory Scanner can Export data to two file types : Text file and HTML file.
Depending on the Settings, results can vary greatly.

Export Settings

Settings related to Data Exporting can be found within the Settings Window, in the "Exporting" Tab.

Exporting to a Text File

Exporting to Text file has three formats :

Minimal Format - Exports only the Essential information :

Detailed Format - Exports extra Info, such as Item Count, Types or Rarity :

Verbose Format - Displays all relevant data, however at a cost of readibility :

Exporting to HTML File

Unlike options for a Text file, HTML output has one format that can be Customized :

Link Game Titles to Store Page - Simply links the Game Name in HTML file to appropriate Steam Store Page :

Link Items to Steam Market - Links the Cards and other Items to appropriate Steam Market Pages :

Include Rarity and Type - Includes Item Rarity and Item Type before the Item Name :

Include Steam Card Exchange - Includes Steam Card Exchange Link next to the Game Name :
